What format should I send my tracks in?

OK, this answer is gonna get geeky ...

WAV or AIFF please, mp3 if you have nothing higher in quality. WAV is the preferred file type because it is the truest Uncompressed audio form.

Uncompressed stereo or mono with a bit depth of at least 16bit, ideally 24bit and a sampling frequency of 44.1kHz or 48kHz. Please do not use any processing using limiting or normalising.

Can I get any revisions?

A mighty 'Hell Yeah' to this question!

I want to work with you and your team in a collaborative way. This requires 'too-n-fro' between us and revisions are all part of the process. I insist that you feel involved and enjoy the ability to make changes - without feeling like it's gonna cost more money.

Do you look after music licensing for podcasts?

Great question, I am pleased you asked. The short answer is YES!

The longer sell to you is, I have access to AMCOS/APRA and non AMCOS music and will organise both a quote and the final licensing for you without you having to sign a form. Easy huh!?

Oh, and I have access to music composers that can create music specifically to your brief. Talk about ‘bespoke’ … woot woot.

Can I direct the talent over the phone or zoom, or whatsapp?

I am all about giving you access to some of the best Voice People on the Planet. My focus is in the speed of delivery. If you would prefer to direct talent, please let me know and we will organise suitable times.

If I cannot decide on which voice will suit my script, can you help me?

I am an old school audio pro, I believe CUSTOMER SERVICE is best done human-to-human. I love talking to you and most of all I aim to make it right the first time. The answer is… YES!

If I need to pronounce a certain word, can I record it to my smartphone and upload the audio as a demonstration to the talent?

I love how you are thinking. Of course you can! Technology is an easy way to ensure the correct script is recorded 'correctly' ... first time.

Can I record for Spotify (streaming services), on hold messages, and social media content?

Sure can, no problem. My rates are very competitive, I can call to discuss reasonable options for any broadcast medium ... spotify, Instagram, TV, Cinema, on-hold messages - you name it!

What is considered a character voice?

A character fee may be charged for a voice over that requires anything more than a natural delivery. This does not include things like enthusiastic reads or a natural voice delivered in an unusual environment (shouting over a crowd, building site, whispering, spooky etc). It does include accents, caricatures (pirate, old age) and representations of known people. Please contact me to discuss anything you may be unsure about.

What if I don’t like the audio mix?

My aim is to ensure I exceed your expectations at every touch point. My goal is to serve and bring my expertise so that you are a raving fan with a customer service experience you are excited to tell others about. I don’t offer refunds on projects once the talent has been commissioned to start the recording. However, I can always re-record to ensure your full satisfaction. I recommend you listen closely to any demo reads before deciding on a voice over talent, or music selection. Better yet, why not call me direct so I can share my voice casting wisdom ... this'll ensure your project sounds perfectly on brand.

Can I get my audio back same day?

Now you're talkin' my love language ... The simple answer is YES!

But let's chat, Cause it can often depend on the voice talent availability (if needed) and the complexity of the project. Having said that ... so many of my clients will vouch that I'm the speediest audio guy in the West ... (I know I live in the East of Oz, but that just doesn't sound as sexy)
