About Me
I have over 30 years experience as a distinguished and awarded audio post engineer. With ambisonic sound mixing, surround sound, and live broadcast skills for film, radio, television, podcasts and streaming audio services.
I have a high level of experience in audio content making and delivery that has encompassed work in Europe, Asia, USA, New Zealand, and Australia.
I have managed internal radio production departments at the highest level, and I have experience owning audio post production companies who have contracted to radio organisations, advertising agencies and television networks.
Experience
My ability to lead and inspire an operational team has been honed through my key management positions within commercial FM radio companies and studio business leadership. I have recruited, trained, developed, mentored and inspired staff and have experience in conflict resolution.
I have well developed interpersonal, communication, organisational and negotiation skills. Within my audio career and businesses, I have enjoyed working face to face with clients, presented live on stage in large groups, often to 200-300 people. I am passionate and have read extensively about building business culture, customer service standards, and strong leadership, along with my own passion for self-development audio books and podcasts.
I consider myself to have a ‘ridiculous’ work ethic however it is tempered with my enthusiasm to enjoy what I do and ensure the people and teams around me are fully communicated to.
With 4 kids, one Golden Retriever, a motorbike, road bike, mountain bike, kayak, stand-up-paddle boards, full home gym, and 3 businesses … my days are both active and filled with passion.
